Five-year-old bitten and dragged into pool by huge python

RUMOUR CONFIRMED 

A five-year-old boy has survived after being bitten by a three-metre-long snake and dragged into a pool.

Beau was by the pool at his family’s Byron Bay home when the python attacked him yesterday afternoon.

Beau’s father Ben told 3AW Breakfast Beau’s grandfather, 76-year-old Allan, was the hero who dived into the pool to rescue the boy.

“He passed him up to me and then I had to separate the two. I released him from his leg,” Ben told Ross and Russel.

“It was somewhat of an ordeal.”
