Melbourne school sends students home on first day of 2024

A mum says her five-year-old has been left “really upset” after arriving for his first day of school and being told to go home.

Jana told Tom Elliott St Peter’s Primary School in Keilor East is without water and everyone has been turned away.

The school has confirmed there is currently no running water onsite and students have been denied entry.
