‘Flawed character’ OJ Simpson dies following health battle
OJ Simpson, who was infamously acquitted of a double murder charge, has died aged from 76.
The former NFL player lost his battle with cancer overnight, having become one of the most divisive figures in the 80s and 90s.
3AW host and former US correspondent Nick McCallum, who covered his trial and reaction during his time overseas, said he was a “very flawed character”.

“What an amazingly charismatic man,” Nick McCallum told 3AW Breakfast.
“He was a very flawed character and an awful man in so many ways, but the impact he had on American during that time was amazing.”
