A Flemington woman with a young baby has been forced to add extra security to her home after a burglary.

Erin and her family lost wallets, keys, and a camera with photos of her newborn son when an offender entered via the back door.

She told Neil Mitchell she’s afraid to leave the house unattended now.

‘We had to pay for extra security for the house because I was too scared to be out of the house, not knowing if they’d come back,’ she said.

Her family, including the baby, were asleep at the time.

Erin said she is insured but, of course, some things cannot be replaced.

‘I don’t care so much about the stuff, but the fact that they took my camera with photos of my baby boy on it, was really awful,’ she said.

Police wish to speak with the man pictured above following the incident.

Anyone with information is urged to call Crime Stoppers.
