Food manufacturer renames popular dish to stand in solidarity with Ukraine

A food manufacturer has renamed its plant-based chicken “Kiev” to “Kyiv” to stand in solidarity with Ukraine following the Russian invasion.

There are calls for Australian producers to do the same.

Jago Pearson, Chief Strategy Officer at Finnebrogue Artisan, said the decision was one of three measures the company was introducing to support Ukrainians.
