Foodbank Victoria says Australia is facing a food crisis

Australia is facing a hunger crisis, says Foodbank Victoria.

A new report says 1 in 6 Australians have are not eating enough food.

Dave McNamara, CEO Foodbank Victoria spoke with Tom Elliott.

He says everybody needs access to healthy food.

‘It’s predominantly people not having enough money’

‘Mainly low income earners and working family’s are looking for emergency food relief.’ – Dave told 3AW Drive. 

Tom says this is a global problem, the world produces enough food to feed everyone.
