Footy fans flood 3AW talkback line following long queues for tickets

Footy fans are reporting problems with the ticketing process for the upcoming AFL season.
Matches for the first six rounds of the season were released for sale on Tuesday, with callers to 3AW forced to wait in long virtual queues to secure tickets to much-anticipated matches.
3AW Drive contacted the AFL, who remain adamant the long waiting times were simply because of high demand for early-round matches.

“We’re hearing some instances where people have logged on to find 30,000 people ahead of them in the queue,” Tony Jones said on 3AW.
