Footy festival to get underway today

The 2017 AFL Grand Final festival will get underway outside Gate 3 of the MCG today.

AFL Players Jack Silvagni and Jason Johannisen will be meeting fans and there’ll be a variety of food trucks, bars, music and activities for children, including a 37-metre inflatable obstacle course.

The site will be open from 10-6pm today and Thursday and 9am-6pm Friday and Saturday.

Those without tickets to the Grand Final are encouraged to get down to Yarra Park and watch the game on the big screen.
