Former England spinner explains just how important Ben Stokes will be this summer

The psychological boost Ben Stokes will give England by joining their Ashes squad will be just as valuable as his runs and wickets, according to former England spinner Monty Panesar.

Panesar said Stokes’ decision to join the squad in Australia was massive news.

“He is Superman – we see him as the Superman of cricket,” Panesar told 3AW.
