Former Hawthorn and West Coast coach Ken Judge dies
Former Hawthorn and West Coast coach Ken Judge has died after a battle with cancer.
It was his 58th birthday.
Judge played 89 games for Hawthorn and Brisbane between 1983 and 1988.
He was a member of Hawthorn’s premiership side in his debut season, and played in Grand Finals in the following two years as well.
After retiring, he coached 133 games at Hawthorn and West Coast from 1996 to 2001.
Judge also played 120 games for East Fremantle, kicking 273 goals.
After his playing career, he forged a successful media career in Perth.
