Former Hawthorn captain Richard Vandenberg ‘glassed’ in New York

Former Hawthorn captain Richard Vandenberg has been ‘glassed’ in an ugly attack at a New York nightclub.

The incident happened in the early hours of Thursday morning.

The New York Post said Vandenberg was attacked by an Israeli tourist following an argument.

The man has been charged with assault.
