Former head of IBAC weighs in on Ben Carroll’s pledge for a royal commission

Former IBAC chief Robert Redlich has weighed in on Victoria’s new Premier Ben Carroll’s promise of a royal commission.

He told 3AW Drive host Jacqui Felgate IBAC had been seeking those powers for the best part of a decade.

“During my period as commissioner, I repeatedly requested the government to give us the powers to investigate what we call soft or grey corruption,” Redlich said.
