Former kickboxing champ “shaken” by his experience of a heart attack

Former karate champion Sam Greco is a tough man.

But he admits he made a mistake pushing through strong chest pain to stay at one of his students’ fights.

As it turns out, he was having a serious heart attack.

Greco, 50, told Neil Mitchell he should have called an ambulance straight way, and urged anyone who experiences a similar situation not to be a hero.

“If you ever have any symptoms, get an ambulance and go straight in,” he said.

“When you think you’re invincible, you’re not.

“The last thing you want to challenge is your health.”
