Former Liberal Party candidate defends himself and Matthew Guy over ‘hurtful’ accusations

Former Liberal Party candidate Michael Piastrino has defended himself and former party leader Matthew Guy over accusations they were discussing “bikies, extortion and violence” with known “heavies” at his 40th birthday party.

Mr Piastrino, who ran against Daniel Andrews at the last Victorian election, told Tom Elliott it was a “witch-hunt” and he felt incredibly hurt.
