A former US Navy seal has given an open insight into life in the armed forces.

Jeff Nichol, who is in Melbourne to promote high-performance brand 2XU, spoke to Ross and John about his ‘weapon of choice’ and revealed just how close he’d come to being killed in the line of duty.

Very little was off limits.

Ross: ‘Were you part of the team that killed Osama Bin Laden?’

Jeff Nichol: ‘Ah.. I know a little bit of something about that.’
