The opposition has called for Premiers Daniel Andrews and Jacinta Allan to not receive their parliamentary pension if they are found guilty of corrupt conduct following a royal commission into the Big Build.

Former RMIT University professor of public policy David Hayward told 3AW Mornings host Tom Elliott there is a petition before the upper house that could change that.

Press PLAY to hear what the consequences could be if this petition is passed

“So that any politician who is found guilty of corruption does lose their parliamentary pension … I think that’s the way to go, is to fix that,” he said.
