Former TV personality’s house destroyed by fire
A 160-year-old homestead north-west of Melbourne has been destroyed by fire this morning.
Former TV personality Tonia Todman and her partner, along with their bed and breakfast guests were forced to flee when the fire began about 6.45am.
CFA crews were called to the home on Donnelly Road and took 45 minutes to bring the blaze under control.
It spread quickly through the bluestone stables, which had been converted into accommodation.
A firefighter was treated for minor injuries after a wooden beam fell on him.
The stables have been destroyed about a third of the home gutted, the rest damaged by smoke.
