Foundation says dolls still portraying ‘unrealistic’ body shapes
Children’s dolls still portray ‘unrealistic’ body shapes, according to a spokesperson for people suffering from eating disorders and negative body image.
Sarah Spence from the Butterfly Foundation told Tom Elliott boys and girls alike can be affected.
‘Kids that come from fabulous, supporting families are coming up with these comments,’ Ms Spence said.
