Four arrested after alleged abduction and stabbing in Melbourne’s north
Four people have been arrested after a man was allegedly abducted and stabbed in Melbourne last night in the city’s second abduction in a week.
A hire company alerted police that a silver Hyundai has been stolen from Northcote at about 9.40pm.
Police followed the vehicle and a man with facial injuries, who they believe had been abducted and stabbed, was released from the at the corner of High and Bell streets.

The man was taken to hospital.
Police continued to follow the vehicle and arrested four people. A 17-year-old boy from Ivanhoe and an 18-year-old woman from Preston are assisting them with their enquiries. A 20-year-old man from Northcote has been charged with theft of a motor car and bailed, and a 16-year-old Heidelberg Heights girl has been released pending further enquiries.
