Four arrested following aggravated burglary in Melbourne’s south-west

Four male youths have been arrested following an aggravated burglary in Sanctuary Lakes overnight.

Police were called to Sanctuary Lakes Boulevard at 3:40am after a resident reported their house had been broken into and their Audi had been stolen.

Officers also found a black Kia in the vicinity and were able to ascertain that the car had been stolen in Burwood on Sunday evening.

Police then used tyre deflation devices to take down both cars, which led to the four arrests.

“Members were quite chuffed as they hadn’t seen that happen before,” Victoria Police Senior Constable Adam West told Ross and Russ.
