Four men arrested following massive drug bust at Port of Melbourne
Border Force officers have arrested four men over a massive shipment of cocaine and ice at the Port of Melbourne.
New high-tech x-ray equipment detected 358 packages in a container from South Africa, hidden amongst mining machinery.
It had been covered by shards of charcoal in a bid to trick the scanners.
The Herald Sun reports the drugs arrived on December 15 last year and were tracked to Sydney where three men were arrested.
A 38-year-old Roxburgh Park man was arrested in Melbourne on Wednesday.
