MML

Four people have been killed as bushfires burn out of control near Esperance on Western Australia’s south coast.

Police have confirmed all four died in the North Cascade fire, 60 kilometres north of Esperance.

It’s one of four major blazes burning across the state’s south.

Meanwhile, a property at Devon North has been destroyed following a blaze in South Gippsland on Tuesday.

It has since been contained.
