Four teens in hospital after crashing stolen car in Hampton Park

Four teenagers are in hospital, one in a critical condition, after crashing a stolen car into a pole at Hampton Park.

The Nissan Maxima had been reported stolen from Springvale on August 30 and late yesterday it ended up wrapped around a pole at the intersection of Ralph Crescent and Cornell Place, Hampton Park.

A passenger, believed to be a 15-year-old girl, is fighting for life in hospital.

Three other teens, two boys and a girl, aged between 13 and 15, suffered non life threatening injuries.

Police are now trying to track down a driver of another vehicle seen in the vicinity of the crash earlier in the day.
