Four teenagers have been stabbed outside McDonalds at St Albans.

Police have labelled it an organised brawl.

A large group of youths went to the St Albans Road restaurant shortly after 6pm on Sunday night.

A brawl then broke out.

Four boys, all aged 17, were injured.

Two of them, from Braybrook and North Melbourne, were taken to the Royal Melbourne Hospital with serious upper body injuries – believed to be stab wounds.

The other two, from St Albans and Caroline Springs, were taken in a stable condition.

Their injuries are considered to be relatively minor.

Police have spoken to a number of witnesses but no arrests have been made.
