Fox Footy analyst charged with drink driving following minor car crash

David King has been charged with drink driving after he was involved in a minor car crash in the early hours of Wednesday morning.

It’s alleged he drove away from the scene of the incident near the Kings Way off ramp before he was stopped by police.

The two-time premiership player with North Melbourne returned a positive breath test reading of 0.10.

He told The Herald Sun he was deeply embarrassed and ashamed by what had transpired.

The Fox Footy commentator had been “having some end of season drinks.”

Police said he’d been released, pending summons.
