FOXTEL to sack staff in business shake-up

FOXTEL is set to sack hundreds of people.

3AW Drive has seen a staff email that details the entertainment company’s plan to scrap their retail kiosks in shopping centres.

FOXTEL has more than 50 of these across the country.

The source has told Tom Elliott there were approximately six staff working at each of those kiosks.

FOXTEL says the decision to close the kiosks has been made “due to the increasing move to online sales” but would not say how many employees would be affected.
