France: Girl, 8, killed after car careers into pizzeria

A girl, 8, has been killed and at least five people injured after a car rammed into customers at a pizza restaurant, east of Paris.

The BMW ran into the packed restaurant line, at Sept-Sorts, which is about an hour from the French capital.

The driver was arrested shortly after the crash.

A motive has not been established.

This morning’s incident comes a week after a man careered into French soldiers.
