Free agent Nathan Brown becomes a Saint as Collingwood declines to match offer
Collingwood defender Nathan Brown is now a Saint.
Brown was a restricted free agent after playing 130 games over eight years at the Pies, so Collingwood could have matched the offer put forward by St Kilda late last week.
But the Pies declined to do so.
The AFL has advised that, due to Brown’s age and the scope of the contract offer in play, Collingwood will not be receiving compensation.
