Frightened mother’s 16-year-old son held at knife-point on public transport

Frightened mother Nat joined 3AW Drive  to provide details about the worrying experience her 16-year-old son had to go through over the weekend.

Her son was robbed at knife-point, with the perpetrator stealing his shoes and was later arrested in possession of weapons.

“It seems outrageous that you can’t even wear your own clothing on public transport without being targeted by these offenders,” Nat told Jacqui Felgate.

“It is awful, his innocence is gone, to not to feel safe on our public bus system is absolutely disgraceful.”
