‘Frightening’: Arrests made following violent crime spree across Melbourne’s south-east

A man and a woman have been arrested following a violent crime spree across Melbourne’s south-east over the weekend.
There were multiple incidents where people were slashed with machetes, with elderly people caught up in the violence.

The alleged offenders were arrested at Ringwood railway station last night, following a home invasion in Kew.
A 41-year-old woman has been charged and will appear in court today, while a 29-year-old man remains in custody.
