From the archives: How Neil Mitchell alerted a dad his son was on the way in 1992!

More than 30 years ago, a Melbourne woman went into labour and with no mobile phones, she couldn’t get in touch with her husband who was on a worksite.

So she had Neil Mitchell put out a message on air for her husband, who was a regular listener of Neil’s program. And it worked!

Harry Van Koll got the message… and the couple ended up naming their son Mitchell!
