This is real fun police stuff.

Hours after hearing Neil Mitchell discuss councils being strict on nature strip veggie patches, Steve Freeman returned home to find a nasty surprise in his mail box.

It was a letter from his council, the City the Casey, demanding he take down the street’s basketball ring (pictured above).

“I live at the bottom of a court in Endeavour Hills,” he said. “We have a multicultural court.”

“The kids get on great together. The structure is safe and checked regularly.”
