Fundraiser set up for Geelong family impacted by Gold Coast tragedy

The husband of a Geelong woman who survived the horror helicopter crash on the Gold Coast says the ride was a last minute decision.

Neil de Silva’s wife, Winnie, and son Leon remain in hospital after their aircraft was struck by another helicopter.

He watched their chopper lift off from the pad and then crash.
