Fundraiser: Support for the McNeil family

A family who tragically lost two children to cancer are fundraising to carry on their memories.

Neil spoke with the McNeil family back in 2014, when both son Ashley and daughter Samantha were suffering from terminal illnesses.

Ash had stomach cancer and Sam had a brain tumour.

Both siblings have now sadly passed away.

At the time 3AW Mornings fundraised to buy the pair a bulldog puppy, which the family still has.

Family and friends are still fundraising in the children’s memories and will take part in the Doreen Relay for Life in next month.

Neil spoke with team captain of Sam-Ash, Becky McNeil on the program this morning.
