Funds raised for children orphaned after horror Daylesford crash

A fundraiser for four children left orphaned when their parents died in a car crash last month has raised an incredible $27 735. 

3AW supplied a major prize for the raffle. Organiser Janine Gebert spoke with Neil Mitchell about her expectations when setting it up.

‘I was thinking maybe $1000,’ she said

The siblings lost their parents, Jo and Michael in a tragic car crash involving black ice near Daylesford.

‘There is some terrible stuff happening in the world at the moment but the generosity and kindness of people is unbelievable.’
