Furious farmers block VicGrid’s third entry attempt under compulsory access powers

Furious farmers have stood together to block a third access attempt from VicGrid staff to access their properties under compulsory access powers passed by the Allan government.

“I think they’re trying to get a reaction out of us, trying to get us angry and look like the bullies,” Mr Duxson said on 3AW Drive.

“If you’re going to run high-voltage power lines through these rural communities who are already doing it tough because of the drought and the fire services levy, this is pushing them to the brink again,” 3AW Drive host Jacqui Felgate added.
