Furious Western Bulldogs fan Ken hits out at City of Maribyrnong for booking his car outside Whitten Oval

A furious Western Bulldogs supporter has lashed out at the City of Maribyrnong for booking his car parked outside Whitten Oval.

Ken rang Neil Mitchell to vent his disgust.

He took his son and granddaughter to watch the Bulldogs train on Thursday, along with about 10,000 others.

He arrived back to his car to find a ticket and said plenty of others had been booked, too.

‘These councils are a joke,’ Ken said on 3AW.

‘We couldn’t find a carpark – there was nowhere to park.

‘I was over about three streets away, there weren’t many cars in the street, and I’ve been booked.

‘If there was a day you wouldn’t book people?

‘I’m so disgusted.

‘Well done Maribyrnong Council, that’s all I can say.’
