Future of mobile phone connection

Ross Greenwood speaks to the Group Managing Director of Networks at Telstra Mike Wright about communications and the 5G network.

Many people have been impacted by numerous outages from Telstra over the past twelve months.

‘Increasingly people live their lives through connectivity,’ Mr Wright said.

Telstra has begun with tests with a 5G network, which is expected to be available in 2020.

‘5G is about looking at the future.’
