HALF TIME

Geelong leads by 12 behinds.

The Cats have had just about all of the play, but wayward kicking in front of goal has left them unable to capitalise where it matters.

Patrick Dangerfield leads the way for the Cats with 17 disposals and four clearances, however his overall impact has been limited.

Adelaide Chairman Rob Chapman told 3AW he has not residual angst towards Dangerfield.

‘We got a good trade for him, as good as we could have expected, and we move on,’ Chapman said.

‘He’s playing really good football. Good on him.’

Geelong assistant Blake Caracella told 3AW Football Patrick Dangerfield will rise to the occasion.

‘He loves the big stage – all champions do,’ Caracella said.

Adelaide fans have had May 13 circled on their calendars ever since the fixture was released.

It’s the return of superstar Patrick Dangerfield.

But there’s plenty more at stake for the Crows beyond bragging rights. They’ve won just one of their last three, and another loss puts their spot in the eight in jeopardy.

The Cats, on the other hand, are nipping at the heels of the undefeated Kangaroos, and will take top spot off them (temporarily, at least) if they win.

The stakes are high, and the 3AW match call will be as good as the action!

TODAY’S LINE-UP from 6PM: Matthew Lloyd, Tony Shaw, Nathan Brown, Bruce Eva, Nick Butler, and Sam ‘Scoop’ McClure.
