What a week it’s been for North Melbourne.

It can’t have been easy telling veterans Brent Harvey, Nick Dal Santo, Drew Petrie, and Michael Firrito that their contracts will not be renewed, but the club has decided that the hard call had to be made.

The Roos can’t finish above eighth, but if they are inspired to victory, they may not have to travel in the first week of finals.

Will the emotion of the week carry the Kangas home? Or will GWS deliver North’s season another blow?
