Gary Pert resigns as Collingwood chief executive

Collingwood chief executive Gary Pert has resigned.

He announced the news on Monday.

Pert, who took on the role in 2007, said 10 years was “enough.”

“My next step is to take a break,” Pert said.

Pert’s resignation comes as Collingwood conducts a club-wide review.

The future of coach Nathan Buckley remains unclear beyond this season.
