Geelong street name inspired by incestuous Game of Thrones couple forcibly changed

Game of Thrones has come to Geelong and not everyone is happy about it.
The developer of new suburb containing street names inspired by the series has been forced to change the name of one street after a complaint was made.
Charlemont Rise has numerous streets named after people and places from the show, including Winterfell Rd, Greyjoy St, Baelish Drive and Lannister Rd.
Geelong Advertister journalist Tessa Hayward told 3AW Breakfast Lannister Rd has been forcibly changed after a complaint was made, citing the reference to brother and sister Cersei and Jaime Lannister, who are also lovers.
“The council have forced the estate to rename it,” Tessa said.
The street was renamed Lannaster Rd before finally being named Precinct Rd.
