Gerard Healy says the time has come for a red card in the AFL

Gerard Healy says the AFL must introduce a red-card rule for punches.

The Sportsday host said the league had its head in the sand, following a number of disturbing incidents in recent weeks.

“It’s time for leadership, AFL, and a red card,” Healy said on Monday.
