Gillon McLachlan slams ‘disgraceful’ memes targeting Adam Goodes

AFL boss Gillon McLachlan says it’s a disgrace racist memes targeting Adam Goodes were posted to social media.

A number of offensive images popped up on Facebook after the death of a gorilla at a US Zoo.

They’ve been taken down after the AFL intervened.

‘When we became aware of them we certainly made contact with Facebook and asked them to take them down,’ McLachlan told Neil Mitchell.
