Glen Eira council accused of disrupting media conference into planned early learning centre closures

The Glen Eira Council has been accused of disrupting a media conference regarding their decision to close three early learning centres.

One of the parents, Ashley, says a zoom meeting held last night got heated and staff were missing at the council chambers this morning.

“Another media outlet was waiting at the childcare centre … and were talking to the families around, one of the councillors … came and shut the blinds … so you couldn’t see in,” she told Neil Mitchell.
