Glenn Robbins’ Tuesday topic: Words you just don’t hear anymore

Glenn Robbins has come up with a list of words you just never hear anymore.

In his regular segment on 3AW Breakfast, Glenn said someone referred to his back pain as “lumbago”.

3AW Breakfast callers had some other nominations for phrases from times gone by, including:

• Lumbago
• Namelings
• Cobber
• Brothel
• Gallivanting
• Dropsey
• No (at least when it comes to children these days…)
• Pony glass
• Referring to someone as ‘sport’
