Gold Coast midfielder Dion Prestia nominates Richmond as preferred club

Gold Coast midfielder Dion Prestia wants to play for Richmond next season.

The uncontracted ball-winner has nominated the Tigers as his preferred club.

‘At 23 years of age, Dion has shown that he’s both a quality player and person, and he would be a great addition to our list,’ Dan Richardson, Richmond’s General Manager of Football said.

‘The club will work with both the Gold Coast Suns and Dion’s manager, Marty Pask, to come to a suitable trade arrangement, and will make no further comment until such time.’

Gold Coast coach Rodney Eade has previously said the Suns would be driving a ‘hard-bargain’ in its quest for compensation.
