Gold Coast star happy to see squad depth grow in 2024

Gold Coast midfielder Noah Anderson can’t wait to see a trio of teammates make their AFL debut in Gather Round.

Academy players Ethan Read and Will Graham, as well as on-baller Sam Clohesy, will all play against GWS as Damien Hardwick makes wholesale changes for the clash at Mt Barker.

Anderson, who won the club’s best and fairest award last week, says the hallmarks of a good side was having a squad of players ready to step in when needed.

“If you don’t have competition for spots, you’ll never be that successful,” he told 3AW Football’s Saturday Sit Down.

“It’s really exciting those boys have come in and really impressed.”
