Good samaritan details ‘distressing’ ordeal with elderly woman waiting for taxi

A good samaritan has helped out an elderly lady who was waiting for a taxi outside Toorak Shopping Village.

Rebecca, the good samaritan, called in to tell Neil Mitchell on the ordeal with the elderly lady claiming she had been waiting two hours for a taxi to get her home.

“The thing that I think was most distressing about it was she was quite immobile,” Rebecca said.

“She clearly couldn’t have walked home which was quite heartbreaking.”
