Gossip Sheet: How to become a supermodel
Quote of the week: ‘You have to have a thick skin, incredible drive and a good business head to survive and the right look,’ says Megan Gale as she joins the judging panel (announced today) for the next season of Australia’s Next Top Model on Foxtel. Gale will bring all her glamour, style and wit to the popular show as she stands alongside host Jennifer Hawkins. The show, in its tenth season, does look for more than just beauty in the wannabe models who without fail generate their own type of ‘I wanna be a supermodel’ drama.
Spotted: Samuel Johnson, fresh from his glorious turn as Molly, mobbed by child autograph hunters at the Luke Batty Foundation celebrity cricket match at Port Melbourne. Not all of the youngsters ( some looked about 8 years old) would have known who he was but he kept on smiling and kept on signing. He is quite the great guy.

An afternoon tea held at The Waiting Room served delicious delicacies while guests were urged to consider the anguish and fear associated with the cancer and the need to research an early detection test.
Former swimmer Nicole Livingstone, who attended the aforementioned afternoon tea as Patron of Ovarian Cancer Australia, isn’t resting on her laurels waiting for her commentating commitments at the Rio Olympics. She is wrangling about 300 swimming students each week at swim school in Melbourne. Some of the parents have spotted the star and all-round lovely lady when she jumps in the pool with the kids. ‘Ooh, look,’ the parents nudge their kids, ‘ she used to be a champion swimmer.’
